Do you know about the ASTD-Lincoln Special Interest Groups (SIGs)?
(Thursday, April 17, 2008)
ASTD-Lincoln is proud to have two very active Special Interest Groups that hold regular meetings.
These groups are open to both members and non-members and provide opportunities to stay abreast of the latest learning technologies, participate in discussions on improving as internal and external consultants and helps grow the profession by providing students with opportunities to discover the profession of workplace learning and development.
The Consultant SIG provides programming and networking opportunities for members who are independent trainers, consultants or do consulting as a part of their organization. Meetings of this SIG are held the 3rd Friday morning of each month. Please check out the Calendar of Events for more details or e-mail Gina Larson.
The Technology SIG is a way to learn about the latest technology for workplace learning and development such as e-learning, software and hardware. Learn about the workplace learning and performance industry from a veteran of WLP and personal mentor. Please check out the Calendar of Events for more details or e-mail Judy Davidson.
The Student SIG is our third group that is just starting to gain momentum and is open to full time, active undergraduate or graduate students. Regular meetings are not currently held so be sure to check the Calendar of Events frequently for meeting information or or e-mail questions to Gina Larson. Download the Student SIG brochure to find out how you can become a member!
