Lessons for Learning in Just 99 Words

Lessons for Learning in Just 99 Words - Learning Event

You don’t need to be long-winded to set the winds of change in motion. In fact, just a few select words can teach volumes about visioning, change management, empowerment, teambuilding, or motivation—all vital lessons for leaders.

Come explore the 99-word story format. Learn how a choice word or two can spark creativity, foster conversations, deepen learning, and speed your organization to the next performance level. Discover why shorter can be better and leave with a complete set of stories to lead your next training or group discussion!

Work, Play, Perform - Workshop

“There’s work, there’s play, but the two don’t mix. When you’ve got a job to do, stay focused.”

As familiar as this may sound, is it really true? If we think of play as something that’s engaging, includes people, promotes collaboration, and releases creativity, wouldn’t we want more of it in the workplace and the training room?

In this session you’ll experiment with four flexible techniques to increase involvement of your trainees by inviting them to activate their playful side. Learn why these techniques promote learning, discover how to adapt them for your own learning content, and identify the facilitator competencies necessary to pull them off with your own group. Leave the session with a user-friendly facilitator’s guide for one of the activities and put playfulness into your training tomorrow.
