Event Description
Knowledge. Identification. Diffusment. Transformation… keys to success when providing training to the Unwilling Know-It-All. This person can also be classified as an Ego Driver or an Energy Vampire. Whatever you call them, they seemingly have the will and desire to turn the most seasoned trainer into a weeping ball on the floor. Change how you, as a full-time or as an occasional trainer, react to those types of participants.
Working with her share of tough employees, Beth Hagemeyer has trained on one the most crucial every-day safety subjects: driving. Imagine trying to teach defensive driving to law enforcement officers or truck drivers. Not a easy task at hand.
During this program, Bethleen will provide tips and ideas on:
•Knowing What You’re Talking About
•Public Speaking and the ABC Method
•Your Ego and Your Audience
•Ego Centric Occupations
•The Problem Children
•Know-It-Alls
•Emotional Vampires
•Ego Drivers
•Why People Resent Training
•Attitudes and Behaviors
•Coping without Trauma
•Four Magic Solutions for any Confrontation
