In 2009 the Membership Committee is expanding the scope of the PALs program to provide more frequent 'touches' during the first year of membership. The Power of 2 emphasis on national in addition to local membership is a priority. We will be conducting a membership drive, to begin mid-year. We plan to expand involvement to include ad hoc positions for Prospects outreach and PALs. We are excited about the email focus group who has agreed to answer a few short surveys to assist with improvements to the member experience.

Since I've discovered ASTD I feel as if I've truly found a professional 'home.' I value the learning experiences provided by ASTD-Lincoln regularly and acess to the national offerings. Members of the Lincoln chapter and the SIG groups are always available to share information and expertise should the need for consultation arise. I value the network of colleagues and friends I have made through ASTD-Lincoln.
